Photos of Paris
Well, I arrived in Paris yesterday around noon. Since I don’t sleep on flights, I was a wreck, a zombie fojap stumbling through the streets. Normally, I’d stop by the grocery store, get some necessary items, spend the afternoon unpacking with the hope of waking up fresh and ready to go with all my stuff organized and a few meals worth of food in the fridge. Instead, it’s unseasonably warm here, just beautiful weather, and I felt it would be a shame to no profit from it. So I went out to do a little photography in an area not too far from where I’m staying.
Not bad, staying near the Palais Royal 🙂
P.S. the metal things is called Trench Art, they were made mostly by soldiers from shell cases.
There were several windows with a display of items from the First World War. It also had text explaining all of them. It jumped out at me because on the plane I had read an essay about the start of that war. Considering the anniversary, I’m surprised we haven’t (or I haven’t) been hear more about that war.
Actually, I’m staying in the 2e, which is also not bad, but not as not bad as the 1er. 😉
I’ve always said that if one day I’m rich, I’ll also get a little (I’m lying I never said little) place on the Place Dauphine overlooking the river 😀
Ah, then when we’re both rich we’ll be neighbors. 🙂
Fantastic. Enjoy Paris! 🙂
Thanks.
wonderful pics! Almost feels like i’m there looking at them……well……………………… maybe a glass of wine and a big hunk of bread and cheese would help that feeling along. 🙂
Enjoy Paris
